Molitas are small versions of Kuna Mola that are made using a difficult fabric layering technique called reverse applique. This process requires excellent design imagination patience and finely honed stitching skills. Full piece measures approximately 7 inches by 6 inches. Handcrafted by the Kuna Indians in Panama. Please note that with all Kuna Mola - the edges of the fabric are unfinished. These small molas are perfect for framing or incorporating into quilts or other fabric crafts.
